Coir fibre

Coir fibre has a wide range of uses from textiles, brushes and mattresses. Our coir matting is specifically produced to act as a weed suppressant around the base of container grown nursery stock and semi permanent/permanent landscape installations. They are also commonly used in vineyards and berry production. As the matting is permeable, water and nutrients are able to pass through into the substrate to the roots of your crop. UV is blocked and seedlings are unable to germinate on the dry fibre material keeping the area around your plants weed free. We produce our mats on an order only basis and are made to your specifications.
